Recently I had the opportunity to choose a venue for a family birthday lunch. I immediately chose the Daisys Place restaurant at Glenview. An excellent decision.



We were ten adults. A booking had been made so we were immediately shown to our beautifully set table. We were not hemmed in by other tables and had excellent views out to the beautiful rustic rainforest that surrounds the back of the restaurant.



The staff were very gracious and did not rush us to make any decisions. However, they were very quick to be there to help in any way. We all settled in for a leisurely meal and chatty afternoon.

All meals were superbly cooked and presented. The needs of two vegans were readily catered to. We had an extensive wine and beer list to choose from.

I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion. However, do drop by for coffee and cake too.



The building was built in the 1920s and access to it now is being hampered a little by the current road works at the Caloundra turn-off. But it is still accessible.
