Is it a spooky coincidence or a strange twist of fate that a florist should be located on the corner of a street called Daisy? That's exactly what has happened at this mixed use space at Wilston which is home to both Daisy Days Florist and Wes' café. They wonderfully combine the beauty of flowers with the joy of coffee.

Flowers First
Daisy Days is a light and spacious florist shop housed in a one time corner store. Today, this family owned business is home to an extensive range of fresh, single blooms and assembled bouquets to takeaway, to order or to send with love ($35-$69). They sit alongside a range of indoor and outdoor plants including orchids, bromeliads, and succulents as potted gifts for your home or to give as a gift. Founded in 1997, Daisy Days also stock homewares items like Hive Beeswax Australian made candles, soft toys, macrame hanging pots and unique one off gift lines. It's helpful to know that Daisy Days Florist offers free wedding consultations for budding brides.

Wes' outdoor café**
After visiting Daisy Days, its hard not to stop at this sweet café, which rests on the grassy lawn beside the Florist shop. Serving Lavazza coffee, Wes' has a hole in the wall counter (making it easy to place your order). It's all outdoors here with French-styled, powder coated tables and chairs shaded by crisp white umbrellas, and framed by a very Queensland influenced white picket fence and manicured hedge. Fresh flowers, presented in an individual vase, appear on each table and nicely complement the floral experience at Daisy Days.

The menu is limited without a dedicated kitchen but includes sandwiches, wraps, muffins and treats to have with your coffee or cold drinks. (A sandwich and coffee is $9.90 and a muffin and coffee is $8.50)

What else?
Parking is available in the residential Daisy Street, along the busier Kedron Brook Road and some lot parking at the shop. Bus Route 346 also stops directly outside the shop front
