Daiso is a large store featured in selected shopping centres that sell Japanese imported products for a really cheap price - most things only cost $2.80 each.

I come to Daiso at Dandenong Plaza once in a while to have a look around as they get new stuff in regularly. I always come out with a few items that are quirky yet practical. You can pick up some cool stuff as gifts too!

I took my cousin here last school holidays and we both had a great time checking out the items. They have wheelie baskets at the front of the store for your convenience.

The products include cosmetics, kitchenware, stationery, pet toys, household goods, food and beverages. My favourite food at this store is the Pocky, with small breadsticks with chocolate. They are very tasty and Daiso sells them for just $2.80 for two boxes.
The range of drinks are quite interesting too, my cousin liked the lemon and mango flavour while I liked the tropical drink the best.

Previously I have purchased mascara, nail polish, pens and pencils, storage cases, notepads and a phone case. I have been very happy with the quality of the items and was happy to say the makeup was very good as well.

I like Daiso because whenever I shop here I can always shop in peace. I can tell what the items are because the packaging is written in English as well as Japanese and I always leave excited with my purchases.

In July this year, they will be going plastic bag free so make sure you bring in your own reusable bag or you can purchase one of their reusable bags.
