So, it's Easter. Chocolate eggs are the foods of the season. But what do you buy if you don't eat dairy?

Well, luckily for some there are a few options that will satisfy the need for a sweet Easter treat. Here are some highlights, and some of them are gluten free as well.



1. Dark chocolate Lindt bunnies, after doing a little research, and taste testing (perhaps lots of testing) we do believe this to be the most popular non-dairy chocolate. Although not strictly an egg, it is still very celebratory especially if you allow the bunnies hop, hop, hop into your mouth.

2. Bonvita Easter eggs, actually are half eggs. They are certified organic and gluten free as well, and Fairtrade. Really, you can't go wrong with these ones as they taste pretty good, too.

3. Alpha Easter Eggs are little eggs that are gluten free as well. Nice one for the kids to share with friends.

4. Moo Free don't have any cow in them either, these organic Easter Eggs are dairy free, gluten free and vegan chocolates that are made using rice milk.

Dairy-free dark chocolate in particular is high in antioxidants so it's good for your heart (in moderation), and it's Easter and they're lovely so why not.
