In close proximity to the Rhodes train station, you can find Dainty Dumpling House conveniently located on the spot.
It was my first visit and I picked the Peking Duck in Roti as its picture shown on the menu looked appealing. The dish ($12.80) contains shredded duck with cucumber enhanced with tasty sauce, delivering a great balance of flavours and textures.
The other dim sum that I ordered was pork dumpling or Xiao Long Bao; a type of steamed soup-filled dumpling especially associated with Shanghai. The tenderness of the dumpling wrappers was just right and the dumplings were juicy. Luckily it was a lunch special priced at $6.80.
The place offers a variety of dishes on the menu, including dim sum, roti, appetizers, fried rice, noodles, soup and much more. If you have a sweet tooth, you can try the Panda Buns stuffed with sweet red bean paste. It has something for everyone.

There is a sizeable outdoor seating area; a great option to sit outside especially when it's a sunny day. Should the weather turn inclement, you can stay inside, though the indoor area is comparatively small in size.
