Family Friendly Fun at Rydal Village this Spring
Public and Private Gardens on Show this September
DAFFODILS AT RYDAL, a floral spectacular not to be missed is open to the public on both 9/10 and 16/17 September from 9am to 4 pm.

Brush off any winter blues and head off to the Blue Mountains for a dose of fresh mountain air and country hospitality. Come and enjoy a spectacular splash of Spring colour over two weekends this September at the picturesque village of Rydal.

Visit Rydal Village not just to enjoy its natural beauty and perfectly manicured gardens but also to help local charities. The $10 entry fee you pay to enter and enjoy the gardens, which are opened especially for the public to view, goes to help charities within the Lithgow area.

All the fresh air and walking will put a spring in your step but you'll also feel good because you're helping people in need. Daffodils at Rydal has been running since 2002 with the generous amount of $164,376.00 donated to various charities from the $10 entry fee.

Enjoy BBQ and morning/afternoon tea throughout the day.
The entry fee allows you to enjoy public and private gardens glowing with yellow daffodils and other spring blooms as you walk through taking in the smells and colours of this mountain village. You can also indulge in local food, music and lots of unique country crafts, all whilst walking through gardens full of spring colour.

Rydal Village has a population of 80, is 1100 metres above sea level in a rural valley where all four seasons are experienced. September can still be cool, so pack some warm clothes, especially if you're staying the weekend. Click here to browse some accommodation.

Situated 150km from Sydney, driving can take two and half hours but if you really want to enjoy the trip why not catch the XPT, it arrives at historic Rydal station at 10am and departs for Sydney at 5.58pm. For Trainlink tickets click here or phone 132 232.
Note: XPT stops at Rydal for pre-booked ticket holders.

Take a virtual tour on our website where you can also download the brochure to entice any friends you think will enjoy the gardens as well. Everyone is welcome at Daffodils at Rydal, and if you do drive, leave some time to visit Lithgow or maybe even Bathurst.
