Each year the Cancer Council provides many services to those with cancer and their carers. They assist with information, education, respite care and research. With such a huge responsibility, they need support. Daffodil day this year is on Friday, August 28th. Buying a Daffodil is one way to brighten your day and the lives of many others.

Daffodil Day merchandise is available in Coles Supermarkets and many other outlets. There are pens, badges and bears, something for all budgets. Daffodil Day merchandise is on sale throughout July and August, and you can donate to Daffodil Day online at any time. This year's range includes the Cancer Council Lapel Pin ($5), Pens ($6), and the beloved Dougal Bear ($10).

The Cancer Council reports one third of cancer deaths in Australia are caused by preventable risk factors such as smoking, limited physical activity, poor diet, sun exposure or not taking part in screening programs.
