This is Australia's best known and most popular fundraising event. Daffodil Day raises funds for Cancer Council, which undertakes a broad range of activities to help grow hope for better treatments and more survivors.
Unfortunately, cancer effects almost everybody in one way or another and each day more than 115 Australians lose the battle with cancer as well as around 350 Australians that are diagnosed with cancer each day.
This is truly a fundraising event that requires all of us Aussies to contribute in some way to help fight this disease and find a cure.
Daffodil Day is one of Australia's most popular fundraising events where you can contribute in different ways, whether it is wearing a Cancer Council pin, volunteering or visiting a Daffodil Day site.
By being part of Daffodil Day, you are helping Cancer Council work towards better cancer treatments, hope for survivors, and hope for a cancer-free future.
Cancer Council undertakes several activities ranging from research, patient support, information, prevention, treatment and many more activities that help cancer patients and their families.
This is a national wide fundraising event with a mission, and there is no better way than getting involved to help raise the very much needed funds.
