Little Aussie Battlers come to Life
Too young to remember the days of radio serials? Too old to remember them? The Museum of Brisbane is about to jog our memories with a live performance of Steele Rudd's Dad and Dave, based on original episodes which first went to air in March 1936.

The series ran for 2276 episodes and was one of a number of serials which kept Australian audiences glued to the wireless long before the days of television or Facebook.
The 2012 cast will consist of players from the Forgetting of Wisdom Collective and they will perform in the gallery space of the Museum of Brisbane. The original episodes are part of the collection in the Museum's current exhibition in the Cabinet of Curiosities.
The performances are free but bookings are required on 07 3403 6363 between 10am and 5pm daily for Saturday October 13 and Sunday October 14 at 12 noon.
