If you're a fan of Leonardo Da Vinci, the Renaissance's most famous sage, and if you love an authentic Italian cuisine then Da Vinci's is a must-try. This Italian restaurant is located at the Millennium Airport Hotel and is just as famous for its ambience as its food. The venue is designed to give a warm feeling to those who dine – complete with a high ceiling, wooden flooring, exposed beams, paintings and remakes of Da Vinci's work. Of course, no elaborate restaurant would be complete without a grand piano near the bar. Da Vinci's is quiet enough for a first date yet busy enough to take the whole family. Private dining rooms are also available for business meetings - a chance to impress your boss with your Italian knowledge.

After being captivated by the subtle yet welcoming atmosphere, your thoughts will turn to the food. I recommend their Insalata Caprese for a tasty and light starter. Next, the pasta - Gnocchi, this potato stuffed pasta is great for those who want to try something different. For the regulars, I recommend the Risotto ai Gamberi e Zucchini. As for the main dish, the Filetto di Manzo with balsamic sauce and a side of potatoes is essential.

Don't forget Leonardo, Da Vinci's mouthwatering over sized pizza that melts in your mouth. Unfortunately, I never have space for dessert but they seem just as good as the main dishes. Da Vinci's is a great place to enjoy good Italian food served by friendly waiters, and to celebrate a birthday, the Italian way.
