The Cyprus Community of South Australia is hosting its tenth anniversary Cyprus Festival on Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of February 2025. As always, the festival celebrates Cypriot culture and heritage within the context of the broader South Australian multicultural community promoting cultural diversity and social cohesion.

It'll be two incredible days of live music and dance. Stephanos Pelekanis and Christos Sikkis from Cyprus will fill the atmosphere with soulful sounds. They'll have with them the violin, laouto, lavta and pithkiavli. Adelaide's own Band Kosmos, as well as local dance groups, are set to take the stage too. And, DJ Valandi of Kefi Krew is on hand to ensure the beats keep you moving. An array of food, beverages and sweets will be available for when you're feeling hungry. This includes authentic offerings such as Cyprus mix plate with sheftalia and halloumi, koupes, mahalepi, keo beer, traditional coffee and chilled frappe. There'll also be a cultural showcase of traditional costumes, handcrafted clay works and historic photos.

The festival will be held at 6 Barrpowell Street in Welland. Entry is free and bookings are not required. Simply come along with the whole family anytime from 11am.
