In an effort to bridge this gap,
Edith Cowan University will be hosting an epic Security Challenge Workshop for High School students. This is a schedule of what teenagers can expect on the day:

10:00 - Capture the Flag - How do we compete?
10:30 – Cyber Challenges 101 - Cyber StartGo - Let's learn a few tricks
11:15 – Cyber Challenge - Saburra CTF - Password Cracking, Reverse Engineering, Bad Web Design. Steganography, Cookies, Phishing and SQL injections
12:30 lunchtime - BYO lunch or purchase food/coffee from Cafe 6
1:00 Capture the Flag event red team versus blue team - Nix CTF
3:30 - Finalists announced and finish time
This is a free event and will be hosted at the Joondalup ECU Campus from 9:30 am to 3 pm.
