These workshops will all start at 12 noon and go until 2.00 pm. If you cannot get to the workshops at these times, you can drop into the Makerspace anytime between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm Monday to Friday during semester, or outside of these hours by arrangement.
2. GARDENING WORKSHOPS You can join Curtin's expert gardeners on campus, and learn about plants and how to make your garden thrive, and thus have "green fingers"!
All these workshops are free and open to anyone, and they run from 12 noon to 2.00 pm.

Tuesday 8th May - Creating your own native garden
All these workshops will take place near the Green Cub in Atkinson Forum which is across from the koi pond.
3. GARDEN TOURS
At this event, you can join Curtin's own horticulturalist team as they tour around the beautiful gardens of the University. From the Malaysian Gardens to a hidden oasis, you will meet in front of the green garden cube in Atkinson Forum (across from the koi pond), and all tours are free and open to everyone.
The tour begins at 12.30 pm on 31st July, 2018, and you can book in at this site.
4. CREATIVE FESTIVAL
This is for students from a first-year event management class who will be showcasing their skills as they put together the Creative Festival.
This will occur on 10th May, 2018 from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm, is a free event, and there will be 20 different creative activities.
5. SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
Curtin University runs a school holiday programme for primary aged children.
From 23rd to 27th April, 2018, there will be some exciting activities such as a treasure hunt, making an ANZAC wreath, carpentry and drama workshops - see above for details of these.
6. PECHA KUCHA
At this event, Curtin lecturers will speak out about their passions in Pecha Kucha format (20 slides for 20 seconds each).
They will have big ideas and for the first time, Explore Curtin is directing their attention to showcasing the amazing work that happens on this campus at a higher research level.
You can find out about all the amazing work that Curtin does in a format that is fun and easy to understand for people with no knowledge in a particular field.
Some of the things you will learn about will be refugee women perspectives of resettlement in WA; new immersive public art installations; how virtuality is changing education; atomic and molecular collisions; and more!
This will be held on 19th April, and 17th May, 2018 from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm and will cost just $5 per person, and you can book at this site.
7. ART TOURS
For this tour, you will join the experts from the John Curtin Gallery for an outdoor art walk. You will learn about sculptures throughout the campus.
This will be held on 1st May, 2018 from 12 noon to 1.00 pm, and is also a free event.
8. OH HEY WA TOURS
These tours explore food trucks and street art from international artists on campus and will be fun!
This event will be held on 1st May, 2018 from 12 noon until 1.00 pm, will cost just $5, and you can book here.
