As well as the children's activities mentioned above, there will be the following activities:
Food stalls/markets where you can pick and chose your favourite foods
Gardening workshops where the gardening team of Curtin University's Parks and Gardens will teach you about native plant seedlings. You also get to take home your own seedling, and watch it grow into a hopefully healthy plant!
Free fitness classes which will give you an introduction to getting fit
For this Event, your family is able to "walk, bike, scoot or skate the Curtin University Nature Trail on the day".
The programme is a "self-guided" event and parents are therefore responsible for their own child or children while you are there and during the various activities.
This is a special event where you will be able to see much of the Bentley University Campus.
The Campus is also open to the public each weekday and there is always something to do at this South of the River Institute.
THE APP In order to get the most out of this day and so that you will have information about the different facilities at this Institute, you will need to download the FREE Nature Play app at this site before attending the event.
This free app will promote the resources, programmes, trails and events that have been made to make taking part in nature play very easy.
You will then be able to follow the set Curtin Nature Trail which will be a whole lot of fun!
This app will also be of use to you to find other nature trails, parks and events that you can attend with the family.
Although this is a free event, the organisers ask that you register so that they can accommodate everyone, and you can do this here.
