At Currumbin, you can get up close and personal with a whole flock of Rainbow Lorrikeets at their feeding area.

They will sit on your shoulders and arms if you choose to hold their food, or you can stand back and watch them interact with other visitors.

Be warned though, it is not unusual to get one sitting on your head even if you are not right in the thick of it.
