Currumbin Beach Vikings, Surf Life Saving Club is located right on Elephant Rock in Currumbin Beach, on the beautiful Currumbin Beachfront, on the Gold Coast Queensland. The Surf Club offers great food bistro and modern Australian cuisine, great service and stunning views over the turquoise, blue ocean, golden sand and Gold Coast skyline.



Currumbin Beach Vikings Surf Club is a great venue for casual dining with family, children, friends and large groups. It is also the perfect venue for weddings, corporate events and other celebrations.

Every year, I walk on Currumbin Beach for the Swell Sculptures Exhibition held in September. The footpath and the beach themselves are transformed into an amazing outdoor art gallery boasting an array of different sculptures by many artists.

What I love about the Swell is the idea of having sculptures on a beach and you can admire the pieces of art walking on bare feet on the sand and in the sun, feeling the marine breeze. The sculptures are beautiful with the ocean in the background.



This year, I renewed the invitation to the Group Hiking South East Qld and More for the Currumbin Swell. After admiring the sculptures on the beach and along the footpath, all the group went to have lunch at the Currumbin Beach Viking Surf Life Saving.

The table was already neatly set up with my name over the table reservation. The table was near the windows with magnificent views over the blue sea and the beach. It was a bit windy and the waves were crashing on the rocks in the sea just opposite the Club.

We started reading the menu and then ordering at the register. Then we got our drinks, the bar serves all sorts of beverages, including beers on tap and soft drinks.

Everyone was thrilled about the stunning views and soon after, the food arrived. Bountiful dishes to satisfy all the appetites!

We choose different dishes from the menu; Chicken Schnitzel, Steaks, Fish and Ravioli. Everyone was very happy with the lovely atmosphere, the gorgeous views over the sea and the beautiful food.











Breakfast is served Monday to Friday 7:30am - 10:30am, Saturday & Sunday 7:30am - 11am

Breakfast starts with toast $4, Eggs on toast $10, Bircher Muesli $12, Belgium Waffles $14, Three Eggs Omelette $18, Triple Stock Pancakes $14, The Vikings Big Breakfast $19.

In the cafe, you find all the traditional hot drinks, like Cappuccino, Flat White, Latte and Tea. There are Cold Pressed Juices, Milkshakes, Cakes and every day there is a Coffee & Cake special for $10.50.

Breakfast for kids is also served for $10.00.



LUNCH SERVICE TIMES: 11.30am - 2.30pm weekdays |12.00pm - 3.00pm weekends

DINNER SERVICE TIMES: 5.00pm - 8.00pm

BAR SNACKS SERVICE TIMES: 2.30pm - 5.00pm weekdays | 3.00pm - 5.00pm weekends

Lunch and dinner include entree, share plates, salads, main fare, seafood, steaks and burgers.

You can start with Garlic Bread, toasted Turkish Bread, Natural Oysters, Kilpatrick Oysters and Karaage Chicken Bites. Viking Superfood Salad is $20. The main fare includes Chicken Breast Schnitzel, Chicken Parmigiana, Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli for about $25. Seafood includes Beer Battered Flathead $20, Salt & Pepper Calamari for $12, Snapper, Prawn, Mixed Seafood and Grilled Atlantic Salmon. Steaks include 200g Black Angus Grass Fed Rump for $25 and Porterhouse for $32. Burgers include a Beef Burger and Chicken Burger for about $20.


The Surf Club caters for vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan dietary requirements.



The Vikings Room located on the top level is a fantastic venue for weddings, corporate events and other celebrations.

Corporate events include Business Meetings, Seminars, Conferences, Product Launches, Team Building, Events, Board Meetings and Tutorials.

The unique stunning backdrop and the great service make sure a full success for Engagement, Anniversary, Birthday Celebrations. The Surf Club caters also for Christenings, Baby Showers and High Teas.

The Private Events and Function Room is also a perfect venue to celebrate weddings. With spectacular sweeping views over the beach and the ocean, it is a brilliant place for great memorable photos. The Executive Chef has created a perfect menu to contribute to a splendid day.



Public holidays are subject to a 15% surcharge
