Oh gosh, how exciting is this! I am already salivating. For the very first time ever, The Curated Plate, Culinary Festival is launching on the Sunshine Coast. This brand new culinary festival will bring together the region's finest produce and producers with the best chefs in the Australian and international culinary scene. 'Regionally cultivated, expertly plated' is a perfect synopsis for this four day destination.

The Curated Plate has an exhilarating four-day programme bursting at the seams with exclusive culinary events that will span the Sunshine Coast region, bringing the unique local artisan culture to centre stage. The Culinary Collective is a series of events held in popular Sunshine Coast restaurants, bars and breweries, which will see local chefs unite with feature chefs from The Curated Plate's festival programme to create one-off menus and unique experiences.

Chase Kojima of Sydney's Sokyo joins Spice Bar in the kitchen to create this one-off seafood extravaganza, proudly supported by Walker Seafoods Australia.

Chase Kojima has headed up kitchens all over the world for the iconic Nobu restaurant group, before opening one of Sydney's premier Japanese-influenced fine dining restaurants, Sokyo. The aim of Spice Bar to Sokyo is to not only indulge diners with a deliciously, decadent feast, but also to enlighten diners on sustainable seafood practices; the importance of purchasing sustainable seafood and the effect it has on our local marine environment.

Peter Gilmore, Citi Chef of the Year at the 2019 Good Food Guide Awards, is one of Australia's most awarded chefs. Peter has been at the helm of Quay since 2001, where it has been awarded three chef hats for an unparalleled sixteen consecutive years.

Analiese Gregory, head chef of Hobart's two-hatted Franklin Restaurant, spent five years working alongside Peter at Quay, working her way up to Sous Chef, before heading off to the south of France, where she worked with Michael Bras at his restaurant, which at the time held three Michelin stars.

Peter Gilmore and Analiese Gregory are once again joining forces in the kitchen to bring diners an extravagant, long lunch at Good Food presents The Legends Lunch, to be held in the spectacular surrounds of Yandina Station, overlooking Mount Coolum, on the Sunshine Coast's panoramic hinterland.

Harry's on Buderim is set in a quaint 139 year old homestead, located in the lush green surrounds of a leafy forest and park. Stuart Bell, owner and chef of Harry's on Buderim will be welcoming chef and owner of Sydney's nel., Nelly Robinson into the kitchen to create When Harry met Nelly six course degustation dinner.

Before taking up the reins of the iconic Harry's on Buderim in 2018, Stuart Bell hailed from the two-hatted Ten Minutes By Tractor Restaurant in the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.

Showcasing the best of the Sunshine Coast's regional produce, When Harry met Nelly is promising diners a unique dining experience.

Delectable food, a spectacular location, a delightful ambience and an unrivalled experience with world-class chefs is what A Hinterland Harvest is promising diners.

Diners will enjoy a mouth-watering lunch prepared by international chef Raymond Blanc (see Good Food presents Seasonal Stars) who has trained some of the world's best chefs, including Marco Pierre White, whose restaurant in the United Kingdom has retained its two Michelin stars for more than thirty years! Nelly Robinson, owner of the culinary progressive Sydney nel. Restaurant, which is currently ranked in the Top 100 Restaurants in Australia will be joining Raymond Blanc in the kitchen. If you missed Nelly Robinson at the When Harry met Nelly dinner, A Hinterland Harvest is an additional option for dining with this culinary specialist. Local plant-based champion chef, Alejandro Cancino, formerly from Urbane in Brisbane, is the local culinary chef involved in the delectable A Hinterland Harvest.

A fabulous afternoon is planned for A Hinterland Harvest - diners will be guided around the grounds of the stunning Weddings at Tiffany's venue, overlooking one of the Sunshine Coast's most awe-inspiring views, whilst entertainment in the gardens is provided by an acoustic artist.

Brouhaha Brewery mirrors the principles of its hometown location, Maleny, embracing the local community slow food and fresh local produce. Brouhaha's chef, James Ostridge, is passionate about the Sunshine Coast hinterland and the local ingredients produced in this rich region.

Brouhaha Brewery is opening its kitchen doors to chefs Matthew Blackwell and Michael Bickford - both of whom are highly-awarded, co-head chefs at GOMA Restaurant. Matt and Mike have been invited to instil their unique spin and talent into the microbrewery's kitchen by creating a one-off menu showcasing locally sourced produce at The Art of Beer and Food.

Diners are invited to experience an exquisitely prepared four course menu, not only spotlighting the Sunshine Coast's wild, regional produce but also created by some of the world's finest chefs at Good Food presents Wild Forage Dining.

Japan's Zaiyu Hasegawa, whose restaurant, Den, was voted number 3 best restaurant in Asia (Asia 50 Best Restaurants 2019) and number 11 best restaurant in the world (World's 50 Best Restaurant, 2019) will be joined by Chase Kojima of Sydney's premium Japanese-inspired hatted restaurant, Sokyo; the Gold Coast's Kiyomi as well as Matt Stone, joint executive chef of Yarra Valley's stunning Oakridge Estate restaurant.
