After driving past Cups and Wells cafe several times, I finally had time to stop. I'm so glad I did. The young waitress was delightful and told me how they'd just celebrated the cafe's first birthday.

I even got free mini muffins left over from the party! (I do love 'free').

The coffee was hot with the foam nice and thick - as it should be. The service was prompt and friendly.

The cafe itself is on the corner of Cripps St and Lillian Ave, opposite Salisbury State School. It has a very high ceiling which contributes to the light airy feel. It was also very clean. You can sit inside or on the Cripps St footpath (waiting for your kids perhaps.) There is also seating on a small deck on Lillian Avenue.

The menu looked interesting and I'm looking forward to returning to try the smoothies and some of the delicious looking meals.

I'll have to go back just to ask why they named it Cups and Wells.
