The is an annual three-day event located at Cunnamulla in south-west Queensland.



It showcases the very best of the outback lifestyle. Enjoy a jam-packed line up of entertainment including:

  • Country music
  • Rodeo
  • Bushmen contest
  • Motorbikes
  • Market stalls
  • Fireworks
  • Outback hospitality
  • Cowboys
  • Bull riders



  • Shearers and stockmen will both converge on this famous town making this event a terrific couple of days out for the whole family. Tickets are available for purchase online, at the gate or from the Cunnamulla Fella Visitor Information Centre.

    This year, the music line-up is headlined by Australian country music star Adam Brand. There will be Australian whip-cracking sensation Walter Whip who will star, as well be Trick Riding, the thrilling motorbike Globe of Death act and the internationally acclaimed magic-maker extraordinaire Cosentino.

  • There will be a Professional Bull Riders, Inc. PBR was founded in 1992 by 20 well-ridden bull riders who decided to develop bull riding, which was the most popular event in traditional rodeo, into a stand-alone sport.

    Today more than 1,200 bull riders hold PBR memberships and compete in more than 300 PBR competitions around the globe. This actually has a total prize pool of more than US$13 million! Due to the high demand for more of these bull riding rings across Australia, PBR has now established the PBR Touring Pro Division and PBR Sanctioned Events.

    Prize money won at these events will let riders qualify for PBR Cup Events in Australia, as well as the annual PBR World Finals in Las Vegas.

    Time: From 6.00 pm
    Place: John Kerr Park, Cunnamulla
    Cost: from $50 per adult for a Saturday Pass. Other categories are available. Get your tickets here.

    A Rodeo School will be held over three days, led by some of the country's best stockmen. There will also be sheepdog displays, sheep shearing demonstrations, a wood chopping challenge, barrel racing, and a Ute Muster will all take centre stage during the festival. As well as all this, there will also be a full program for children including circus workshops, performance classes and fireworks.



    A variety of food and drinks will be available and tickets can be purchased from the Cunnamulla Fella Visitor Centre or at the gates.

    Main event program dates are from Friday 30th August to 1st Sunday September and pre-event activities are from Saturday 24th August to Thursday 29th August.
