This summer Sydney Living Museums will join other major arts and cultural institutions for Culture Up Late, a NSW Government initiative aimed at revitalizing Sydney's cultural life.
Explore the Museum of Sydney, Hyde Park Barracks and Justice & Police Museum during Culture Up Late with extended evening opening hours from 5-8pm every Thursday evening and half price entry. Members receive free entry.
At the Museum of Sydney, visitors can enjoy temporary exhibitions including Paradise on Earth (every late night), Make Your Mark (until 7 February) and the upcoming installation Narcissus Garden by Yayoi Kusama (from 20 February), along with craft activities and a film program.
Visitors to the Hyde Park Barracks can discover its stories through a self-guided immersive experience that will feel like stepping back in time. Children and families can explore the museum with a new tailored audio guide and activity book.
At the Justice & Police Museum delve into Sydney's criminal past with fascinating exhibitions, a film program and Murder in the Museum talk (adults only).
Culture Up Late at the Museum of Sydney, Hyde Park Barracks and Justice & Police Museum will run from every Thursday night until the end of March 2021.
