Darwin has a new place offering fish feeding for adults and children. The is located at Cullen Bay Marina opposite from the big steel crocodile statue. Everyday at 9am and 4pm you can come down and grab some fish food from Anne and Graham, owners of the nearby gift shop, for just $1 a bag. Profits go towards an Australian children's charity, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. The joins Aquascene Dr Gully Fish Feeding at the end of Esplanade as another spot for fish feeding in Darwin.

Seeing an opportunity to create a new children's activity around Cullen Bay, Graham initiated this free fish feeding activity for everyone. He started the fish feeding at the end of 2017 and said the response has been very good, with more and more people coming to enjoy the fish feeding.

Sometimes this fish feeding activity can attract hundreds of fish to come and gobble up the fish food that children throw in the water. There are two or three species of fish that we could see when we did the fish feeding here. Catfish are very dominant and they're one of the larger fish in the water. We could see cat fish as long as an adult arm.

Just make sure to watch your children at any time while doing the fish feeding as the Cullen Bay Marina only has a rope or chain for a barrier between the boardwalk and the sea. Come and do the fish feeding at Cullen Bay and be amazed at the many fish around the marina.
