It's ironic that a café called Cube is more like of a stack of geometric shapes and the cakes are certainly 'outside the box'. This café has only been open for 9 months but it already has regulars from a range of age groups. I started my loyalty card so in a few more visits I can get a free coffee to go with the choc cherry cheesecake I want to try.



Latif, the manager, chef and entrepreneur explained to me that the unique cakes are all freshly hand made daily from a small bakery. They look great in the display case and even better served on the plate. But I think they taste better than they look. The cafes specialty is the wood fire pizzas because of the authentic, distinctive taste.

It's about time this area got a licensed seven day a week café with indoor and outdoor dining, function room, take away and delivery service. The Cube Café is open seven days a week from 8am until late. It serves breakfast all day until 5pm, lunch, dinner and extensive dine in and take away menus. The take away menu includes: pasta, risotto, pizza, pastries, parmas and light meals.



If you are looking for a modern function room that has indoor and outdoor spaces, seats 60 or perhaps a stand up cocktail party for 100, this could be worth a look. It includes its own bar, leather couches and bar seats, jukebox and massive screen for viewing photos.

The Cube café is becoming the place to be, so best to book ahead especially for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Conveniently located on Diamond Creek Rd between Greensborough and Diamond Creek and enroute to new suburbs of Doreen and Laurimar, the Cube and the new café strip has food choices for every palette.



This little café is strip is ideal for large families where no agreement can be made about what to pick up for dinner. There are three other eat in and take away cafes with seating in the strip. They include Tommies' Fish and Grill Bar, Signature Noodles and the Poultry Kitchen. The Bottlemart is also in this strip; so that's about everything you need to satisfy everyone's favourite take away. Bon appétit
