There are infinite energy sources all around us. All we need to do is harvest them and we could eco-power the planet forever. Incredible, isn't it?
Well, the CSIRO is using science to do just that, however, instead of publishing some scientific paper, Australia's National Science Agency wants to
show you - meet the Infinity Swing:
Witness the swing light up with the power of your own energy.
The CSIRO has been a driving force behind some of the world's most innovative inventions including Wi-Fi, fabric softener, Aerogaurd and much more since 1926. With that kind of background in energy research, the possibilities gained from experiments like the Infinity Swing are endless.
With a scientist standing by throughout most of the swing's open hours, this is a great chance to learn more about sustainable energy and the human force behind it. The 8-seater swing will be open the following hours during its six-day visit:
-Monday 16th Nov: 4pm – 10pm
-Tues 17th Nov: 7.30am – 10pm
-Wed 18th Nov: 7.30am – 10pm
-Thurs 19th Nov: 7.30am – 10pm
-Fri 20th Nov: 7.30am – 10pm
Sat 21st Nov: 10am – 10pm
The will be at Melbourne's Federation Square, November 16 - 21 and is free to play on for all ages.
