[ADVERT]The Crystal Castle offers something for everyone. I've taken my toddler, and we both loved it.
The grounds and gardens are beautiful, and it's fun to explore the paths and bush tracks, fortunately quite shady in the Byron heat. The gardens are adorned with statues and amazing flora, and of course, massive crystals.
There is a children's playground and free face painting on the day we went, but the gardens and 'mazes' proved more enticing to my daughter.
I regretted telling the others we'd be back for lunch, as the cafe has a great range of meals and cakes, made with local and often organic produce. They offer pizzas, curries and turkish bread sandwiches, all with a stunning view over the Byron hinterland.
There is a shop selling crystals, jewellery, and prayer and peace treasures. You can even have a tarot or aura reading. There is a room for workshops and prayer. Their
website timetables what's on and when.
We had only allowed an hour before needing to return to the others, but I recommend dedicated a couple of hours to enjoy the tranquility and beauty, then grab a leisurely lunch. You'll feel refreshed and renewed as you return to the beach bustle.
