Give the children at Rafiki Mwema a Christmas to remember

On 14 September 2019, join special guest and Ambassador Celeste Barber and the Rafiki Mwema team onboard 'Cruise for my Rafiki', an exciting evening of food & drinks and fun and laughter, to raise funds to give the children at Rafiki Mwema an awesome Christmas celebration!

The pick-up point is Darling Harbour - King St Wharf 9 at 6pm and the ticket price includes:

  • 4-hour private cruise aboard the MV Vagabond Spirit

  • 4-hour beer, wine and soft drink beverage package

  • Cocktail dinner served throughout the evening

  • DJ, live music and dance floor for all night entertainment

  • Fundraising, auctions and exciting raffles on the night
     

    100% of the profits will purchase each child a Christmas gift pack (including items for the new school year) and host a Christmas celebration full of fun love and laughter for all the children and staff to enjoy.

    About Rafiki Mwema:

    For over five years, Rafiki Mwema, has provided therapeutic care and support services to children who have suffered abuse in Kenya. Rafiki Mwema works with families; in the communities; the schools; villages and with government officials to ensure the cycle of abuse is broken and children can live as children should. Rafiki Mwema is committed to supporting children who have experienced things we could not even imagine and to help them heal their trauma. They are also working with local Australian child protection and foster care organisations to train them in their trauma-informed, therapeutic model of care.
