Be inspired to make some (big or small) life changes
The Cruelty Free Festival is about encouraging everyone to explore and learn about cruelty free lifestyle options. The event is for anyone who is looking to make positive changes to their lifestyle - go with an open mind and have a good time while learning about cruelty free choices.
This year the festival will be held at the Australian Technology Park Redfern, Exhibition Hall on Sunday 25 October 2015 from 10.00 am - 5.00pm. Entry is $5.00 with kids under 12 free.
The festival promises to be full of ways to help animals, and I love that the promoters have found some great ways to do this! The program is choc-full of quirky and original ways for attendees to get involved - not a gozleme to be seen, well perhaps if its vegetarian.....
The main stage will feature a whole swag of entertainers who, of course, all believe in fair treatment for all. Osher GŁnsberg will be the MC (think Australian Idol and The Bachelor/Bachelorette) and he will intro a host of great local acts.
There will be a fashion show which will prove once and for all that fashion can be cruelty free. And awe inspiring speakers will have us all climbing mountains before we know it.
Meet your like minded life partner at the festival's speed dating gig - and you will even get free fries with that (courtesy of Lord of the Fries). I love this idea so register now.
Kids are such an important part of the education process, so get them involved by entering the colouring competion - download the form here (and no cheating mums!) There will also be a kids corner that will feature animal (of course) themed activities, face painting, a plush petting zoo and a craft table.
Get in early to grab a show bag for only 20 big ones! These are made of 100% certified organic cotton and even better contain heaps of great, cruelty free products. You will be able to purchase some of these products at the stalls, and you will also be able to get heaps of info on cruelty free living.
Send your (speed dating) partner to the vegan cooking demonstrations, while you browse the Art Show. Buy a ticket for the raffle where there will be some great prizes, of which all proceeds will go to Animal Liberation to assist their work to end animal cruelty.
