On the road out of Crows Nest heading towards Toowoomba, you will find a large very welcoming tourist/caravan park. The park is very spacious and caters to both caravans of all sizes and those who only want a cabin. There are many cabins to choose from which vary in size from a one-room bedsit to one or two bedrooms. They all have a small well-equipped kitchenette and all the things necessary to make your stay comfortable. Your washing can be done at the camp laundromat.
Making this park different to most is the fact that there is a restaurant on site. Independently owned, this restaurant is also open to the public. I had lunch there with friends and we were all very impressed with our meals. There is a large deck area for outdoor dining in suitable weather.
The swimming pool is a welcome asset in the hot weather I'm sure. Nearby the pool there is a very large aviary filled with many varieties of birds. Bird lovers will be delighted. I loved the wee library. The park has a communal camp kitchen, which is great for those that travel lightly. And an ideal time to catch up with other travellers.
