No visit to Crows Nest is complete without a visit to their iconic soft drink shop/factory. Established in 1903, it has stood the test of time.

Crows Nest Soft Drinks

Crows Nest Soft Drinks, 100% Australian owned, is one of the longest established of the few privately owned soft drink companies still operating in Australia. The current owners are 10th inline, taking over in 2014. They relocated the business into the centre of town, where it has great street front visibility and easy parking.

Crows Nest Soft Drinks

Crows Nest is a small country town with a population of around 2000. It sits on the edge of the great dividing range and is an easy drive to the nearest major centre of Toowoomba(43km)

The company supply soft drinks all over Queensland and flavoured syrups across Australia and overseas. Their two products are flavoured syrups and soft drinks. I am not a soft drink fan, but I found their drinks to be very acceptable. With no added preservatives or artificial sweeteners, they get a big tick from me.

Crows Nest Syrups

Their syrups (29 flavours) can be initially bought in 100ml bottles to be really sure that's the flavour you like. I bought the lime one. Their brochure gives a large range of suggested uses. Definitely not to be ignored.

Crows Cola

There is a range of 16 traditional flavoured soft drinks in 330 ml glass bottles. Many of them are still made from the original recipes and ingredients. Only Bundaberg cane sugar, grown right here in Queensland is used.

Bus tour groups are catered to. Guests are taken out back to see how the factory operates.
