Crowne Plaza Paradise and Gold Towers, Surfers Paradise
In Surfers Paradise lies the Crowne Plaza Paradise and Gold Towers. My partner and I have recently reached the 5 year mark in our relationship and wanted to celebrate in style. Based on recommendations from friends and family, we booked in for one night at the Crowne Plaza Gold Tower.
Arriving at the hotel for check in we walked into the main lobby where there were plenty of staff at the front counter ready to provide us with service. The lady who served us was prompt and friendly, giving us only the facts that we needed to get through our one night stay.
The rooms in the Gold Tower are meant to be nicer than the Paradise Tower, but I am unsure of the actual difference. What I do know is that we stayed in the Deluxe King Room with Spa and we were very impressed. Considering that the room was just a studio room ,we were quite surprised when we opened the door to a small dining table, sofa bed, king size bed, large television and a large bathroom. We were also had access to our own balcony and even though we were on level three of the tower, it was nice to just sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous days.

We did not waste much time in our room before we went to check out the facilities at the hotel. There is a connection that allows you to move freely from the Gold Tower to the Paradise Tower. Inside the hotel you will find function rooms, a day spa, internet café, 2 restaurants, and a gymnasium. Outside there is a tennis court, 2 pools, 2 spas and a chapel. The only facility that I thought was missing from this hotel was a sauna, though this would not stop me from staying at this hotel again.
Included in our accommodation was a buffet breakfast at either of the two restaurants. Given that this hotel is the location of the popular Four Winds Revolving Restaurant it was not a hard decision to choose which restaurant to dine at. Located on level 26 in the main tower, you will find the revolving restaurant and all I can say is the views are absolutely breathtaking. We were privileged to be dining on such a beautiful day. From the ocean to the mountains, this revolving restaurant gives you the opportunity to see for miles in any direction. Even if you are not able to stay at the Crowne Plaza, I would at least recommend that you experience the Four Winds Revolving Restaurant.

Location wise, the Crowne Plaza is not located in the heart of Surfers Paradise but there are many attractions that are walking distance, or you can catch the constant stream of buses that stop on the Gold Coast Highway. Some of the places that are worth a visit is Cavill Avenue (the heart of Surfers Paradise and a shopping precinct.), Pacific Paradise (shopping galore) and Jupiters Casino.
There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and shopping precincts in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and Southport that will keep any couple or family entertained on their holidays.
I noticed that both couples and families enjoyed the Crowne Plaza Towers, hence the reason I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to get away for a night or even a couple of weeks.
