Recently opened in November 2020,
Crowne Plaza Adelaide is one of the newest hotels in the heart of the city. I had the privilege of staying there on opening night and was not disappointed.
Located on the seventh floor, our twin deluxe room had floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Rundle and Frome Streets. The plush and comfortable bedding ensured I got a sound night's sleep while the modern room amenities catered for my every need. Its 55-inch LCD television even displayed a personalised welcome message when you turn it on. Other rooms on offer include king superior, king premium, junior suite and executive suite.

As you enter the hotel, take the lift straight up to Level 10 where you will find the lobby for check-in. We arrived just after 1pm and the whole process went rather smoothly. We were in our room in no time, with our bags following a couple of minutes later. Also on Level 10 are the hotel's heated outdoor infinity pool, state-of-the-art gym and co-working area.

Being in the city's iconic East End, a night at
Crowne Plaza Adelaide means you are close to numerous cafes, the Botanic Gardens, North Terrace and Rundle Mall. This makes it the perfect location for a staycation in my opinion.
