Grab the family and head over to Crown Melbourne for the city's largest Lunar New Year Festival this year. Now in its 15th year, this annual event attracts more than 100,000 visitors. Running over 4 weeks from 20 January to 19 February, this year's program promises a cornucopia of free activities. Highlights include the 'Dotting of the Eyes' ceremony, 60 decorative suspended lanterns, traditional lights and music show, Hawkers' Bazaar, dragon and lion processions, cooking demonstrations, a petting zoo and fireworks display on the Saturday nights.
