Crossbows is a four day music festival for small ensembles, featuring seventy distinct performances over seven different venues at South Bank; from May 10 to 13, 2012.


Presented by the Queensland Conservatorium, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, ABC and South Bank Parklands, the Crossbows Festival of Music includes a varied program of popular, jazz, classical, and world music, as well as musical comedy. There will also be workshops and discussion forums.

Highlights of the festival include Elixir featuring the exquisite Katie Noonan, comedy trio Tripod, Brisbane's band of gypsies Mzaza, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, the New Zealand String Quartet, and many more. Click here for the full program listing.
