The
Crookwell Twilight Christmas Fair will be held on
Saturday 3 December 2022 from 4-9pm. Presented by the Upper Lachlan Shire Council, Crookwell is set to transform into a bustling hub of main street late night shopping, window displays, outdoor dining and a special twilight market featuring stalls packed with yuletide goodness. Businesses from across the Upper Lachlan and Southern Tablelands regions are taking part in this exciting event, giving you the opportunity to browse artisan goods from local eateries and wineries, makers of handmade products, growers of local produce and boutique gift retailers.
From afternoon to evening, there's lively street entertainment, live music, roving carollers, costume characters on stilts and of course Santa and his elves. There's enough to delight the whole family with activities galore, and a Christmas Wonderland and Inflatable zones for the children. Artists at the Southern Tablelands Arts stall will show visitors how to create their own decorations. Kids are going to be enthralled with Hephner the alpaca, dressed in his Santa costume, ready for a photo op with you.
With the setting of the sun comes the official lighting of the town's massive Christmas tree, followed by a spectacular light show to launch the Fair. Illuminating the town's buildings with moving images depicting the festive season, this state-of-the-art light show will light up Crookwell's main street every night leading up to Christmas, and will be launched at the event by Mayor Pam Kensit with the Minister for Local Government, The Hon. Wendy Tuckerman, MP.
This is more than an exciting destination of a fun event, but one that also supports businesses from the shire and surrounding regions, so come one, come all with family and friends for an afternoon of fun.
