This weekend I took my younger brother and sister to Croc's indoor playcentre in Pakenam, which was a really fun day out for both the kids and I.
I chilled out in the cafe area while my brother and sister ran crazy and had a fun time on the equipment. I was really impressed with the layout of the playcentre and all of the amazing equipment it had to offer.
My sister loved the big inflatable slide, and she said she went on it at least twenty times she believes. My brother had the greatest time in the basketball room, shooting hoops and even made a friend in there who he had a game with. They both also loved the biggest slide in Australia, which they also went on at least thirty times.
I like the fact that the cafe area is right next to the toddler playing area. If I was ever to bring my younger cousins, I would definitely feel comfortable knowing that they are close and I can see them easily.
The food at Croc's was really good, there wasn't just hot greasy food, they had healthy sandwiches as well, which I purchased for my siblings instead of junk food.
My brother and sister had a fantastic time because they were on their feet the whole time; running, jumping, spinning, climbing and tumbling their way around the playcentre.
My sister said, "Croc's playcentre is so much fun. It is my second favourite playcentre and I want to come back for my birthday".
My brother commented, "The basketball room is definitely my favourite of all time".
The first Friday of every month is Kids Disco night, which is my sister's favourite night of the month. It is hosted by an awesome company called Bop Till You Drop, which is a kids entertainment company.
The last time I took my sister was last year sometime, and she also invited two of her girlfriends, Simone and Georgia, and the three of them absolutely loved it. They danced, they sang, and they even got up and did a bit of karoke. It was definitely the best girl's night out. A disco is something not very common nowadays, especially for children, but it was great for them to experience it. They had fun with the appropriate music that they played. They also got to play on the playground beforehand and we got a bite to eat and then the disco started at 6pm and ended at 8pm. They had the best night and I promised I'd take them again in the new year.
Croc's offers a wonderful range of great things to do and it is great for parents as well. They also host parties, at perhaps the cheapest prices I have seen for kids' parties.
There are 3 different options, the lowest price is $149 for up to 8 children, it includes party invitations, unlimited play time, party room for 1.5 hours, tableware and a party host, also a selection of snacks (cheezels, fairy bread, sandwiches, cordial and water).
Option 2 is $179 for eight children, including everything from option 1 plus also hot food for lunch such as hot dogs, chips, sausage rolls, pies and all that kind of food.
Option 3 is $225 for eight children, it also includes party games with prizes, lolly bags, a gift and a cake presented to the child from Mr Croc himself - pretty neat I would say.
It is definitely an idea to keep in mind for your next child's birthday party.
