Learn to crochet with Classie today
If you've ever wanted to try your hand at crafts, then crochet is a great place to start. It's easy, fun, and affordable; and best of all, you can do it both alone, or with a whole group of friends.

Classie's Crochet for Beginners class is designed as an introduction to this classic craft. You will learn basic stitches and their abbreviations, how to change colours in your work all the skills you'll need when you practice at home.

This course is designed for those who have had little to no experience with a crochet hook. You will learn basic stitches, such as double and treble crochets, chain stitches, slip stitches, and their abbreviations. You will then apply the basics to start your very own Granny Square.

By the end of the class, you'll be well on your way to completing your first project. Your host will provide you with sample patterns to try, which you will be able to take with you at the end of the day.

For each class, numbers are kept small, so the host can offer individual assistance and guidance. You'll receive your own hook and yarn to take home as the first part of your crochet collection; your host will also have advice on the best places to get your own materials and tools.

So good that these classes are being offered. Things like knitting and crochet almost seemed to be a dying art (craft), but it looks like it's all coming back again. Good news. Thanks for the article!

Very true, crafts like these are very interesting and creative! The Migration Museum has an exhibition on at the moment about it
