For beginners and those who know a few crochet stitches, this class will have you happily hooking a granny square bag to hold your belongings. If you don't know how to crochet, Kim will walk you through the basics but will also show the more advanced members how to get started on the project along with loads of advice along the way.

Kim started crochet in 2009 for something to do at home while watching Oprah with a baby and toddler snoozing. Since then she has made many many granny square blankets for friends, one butterfly blanket for her daughter (that didn't win a prize in the Ekka but was displayed), quite a few ponchos, various crochet bags, and Easter & Halloween baskets.

Kim will be able to teach you how to start your granny squares followed by the process of making them into a blanket or bag.
