Delicious home-made pasta and wood-fire pizza
Feel like a nice evening out for dinner? Criniti's is a fantastic choice if you're looking for something fancy, yet something that won't break your budget outrageously.
With five franchises open in Sydney- including Woolloomooloo, Darling Harbour, Manly, Parramatta, and Castle Hill, I'm sure you'll find one near you.
Having been to both the Parramatta and Castle Hill (in Castle Towers) restaurants, I preferred the one at Castle Hill, mostly because it was more spacious, the setting was at the Piazza, an open air courtyard lined with restaurants, beautifully lit up at night, and very comfortable.
There was seating available indoors where it is much warmer, and outdoors too. The restaurant oozes Italian romance reflecting the exotic culture, history and mostly the delicious blend of flavours!
You will feel like a celebrity in there but it's difficult to point out exactly why; whether it's the fantastic service, the beautiful ambience, the artistic presentation of the food or the mouth watering flavours of the cuisine. Whichever way you look at it, the place percolates class, so a very nice choice for a special occasion or a lovely evening out on the weekend.
Winner of local awards, including I love food and Gold class, it's not hard to see why. Criniti's sponsors the Sydney Roosters (NRL), and Sydney FC as well.
You may order online to take away if you choose, visit during happiest hour on Monday to Thursday from 3 to 6pm or purchase fabulous desserts and pastries from the pasticceria. They even do home deliveries for cakes, biscotti etc. there's something for everyone whether you choose from the kids menu, desserts, drinks, set menu or mains.
Criniti's even caters for vegetarians and gluten free and there's more than just one choice. Specialising in southern Italian cuisine, you can't go wrong with any of the hand made pasta or wood fire pizza selection, but there's also salads, wraps and burgers, risottos and more. The appetisers were also fabulous especially the zucchini flowers.
I'd suggest booking in advance through the online forms to ensure a place especially weekends as the restaurant is very popular.
I definitely recommend Criniti's as one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. Would happily go back...
