Vanessa Berry, celebrated writer, blogger and author of Mirror Sydney, is hosting a fascinating Underworld-inspired zinemaking workshop at the Museum of Sydney.

Held from 1.30pm and open to ages 16 and up, this interactive two-hour workshop will see participants get creative with typewriters, scissors and images to create their very own crimezine!

The workshop will include a brief 15-minute tour of the current Underworld exhibition, led by a Sydney Living Museum representative. Be inspired by the captivating exhibition, discovering the bosses, bruisers, plotters and petty crims of Sydney's seedy underworld.

Vanessa Berry will then facilitate the creative workshop and all required materials will be provided. At the conclusion of the workshop, you will have your very own crimezine to take home.

This is a great activity for teenagers these school holidays and all are welcome - no prior experience is necessary.

The fee is $60 per person, $55 for concession card holders and $50 for Museum of Sydney members.

As places are limited, early bookings are advised. Please visit to secure your place and get ready to spend an afternoon getting creative with Vanessa Berry!
