Creswick's Folk & Roots Festival

Creswick's annual Folk and Roots Festival returns from 4-6 April 2025. It's three days of hundreds of artists across 15 stages . A boutique festival capped at 2000 ticket holders, be sure to get your tickets early to avoid disappointment. If you haven't already entered the annual ABC Competition , you best hurry as the competition closes Wednesday 26 March 2025 and the 'one winner' will be announced on ABC radio (time TBA) on Friday 28 March. The lucky winner will enjoy 2 x weekend festival tickets, weekend accommodation, a pure wool blanket, and the chance to appear onstage at the ABC Outside Broadcast on the Saturday 5 April at the Town Hall.

Plan a weekend away in a glorious heritage town just 15 minutes from Ballarat, to immerse yourself in music from local and international artists. If you're looking for physical programs, you'll find them at the RACV Goldfields Resort, Community Bank Creswick & District, and the Creswick Information Centre. They can also be collected at the hub of the festival when you collect your ticket.

Celebrating its fourth year, enjoy three days of dance and music from a huge and diverse range of performers at various venues running at once. It's going to be a densely packed program of workshops, including singing, dancing and playing, so learn new skills and take part in all that's on offer. It's going to be a happening place, in glorious old buildings and on the streets of Creswick. You'll also find free concerts at the Creswick Woollen Mills, Railway Parade, Creswick on the weekend (5 & 6 Apr), with the lineup performing from 10.45am to 2.45pm on the Saturday and 9.30am to 2.30pm on the Sunday. Aside from amazing artists, from local treasures to national stars and international legends, there'll also be amazing light displays at night, free kids' activities, workshops, and local produce at the festival market. There is no booking required for workshops. They're included in your ticket, and you just show up. As a CresFest ticket holder, you also have access to the orange events on the program, including big-name acts, workshops as previously mentioned, CresFestival Choir, artist conversations and the big costume party with The Royal High Jinx.

This Folk & Roots Festival in the forested goldfields town of Creswick, nestled between Daylesford and Ballarat will be swamped with artists and attendees. To enter you simply 'like the relevant, original post and comment on the image', answering the question asked of you. You'll have 24 hours to respond and the closest answer will win a prize.
