Proudly hosted by the Sunshine Coast Council, children are invited to 'shine-a-light' on the creatures of the night during these winter school holidays. Creatures of the Night are art-based workshops specifically aimed at children and run from the 2 July to the 13 July at three of our local nature reserves - Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve; Maroochy Wetland Sanctuary and the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden.

The Sunshine Coast Council invite you to come and explore what glows, crawls and swoops, with artists who will bring the after-dark world to life with sculpture, mask-making, screen-printing and much more.

As the Creatures of the Night Kids' Holiday Programme commences on Monday 2 July and is extremely popular with little people, Mums and Dads are encouraged to book online quickly as I notice quite a few of these workshops have already 'sold out'!
