Creative writing with Jacqx - Image: Jacqx Melilli FB page
The festivities of Christmas and New Year will be behind us and all we can visualise in our mind's eye, is the
whole month (well nearly) of January school holidays stretching interminably ahead. Well, fear not, Mums and Dads and Grandparents too, I have the perfect solution to incorporating further adventures into your children's' lives - by instilling and/or developing in them a love for creative writing at the Creative Writing for Young Geniuses workshops!
What better way for a child to bring their own adventures and travels to fruition than allowing them complete freedom to create their own characters… their own story! Your young creative will have the power to control the destiny and fate of their own characters. Imagination and self-expression are the heart and soul of all forms of creative writing whether it's fiction, poetry, memoirs or essays.
Jacqx Melilli from Jacqx Enterprises will guide your children through the step-by-step process, with the ultimate goal… a completed story ready for publication.

These creative writing classes are aimed at 10 to 18 year olds. They will be split into two groups:
Ages 10 to 14 years for the 2.00pm to 3.30pm classes; and
Ages 15 to 18 year olds for the 3.45pm to 5.15pm classes.
Please ensure when booking, that the correct time for the appropriate age group is chosen.
These classes are experimental at the moment but will continue after the initial three weeks, should there be sufficient interest from participants. The aim is to start and finish a story during the six classes but should participants be unable to commit to all six classes, they can attend specific classes of their choice. Participants who complete all six classes and a story will have it published on Jacqx Enterprises' website as well as social media - how awesome would that be!

I do realise that these Creative Writing workshops are still two months away, but with school holidays, Christmas and New Year functions and festivities nearly upon us, it would be quite easy to 'forget' to pre-book. Besides, tickets to these workshops would make excellent Christmas presents or stocking fillers - perfect for the future authors in your life!
