Suzan Battah, a creative artist strategist and award-winning screenwriter and film director, is hosting a two-day Creative Writers Mind Mapping Workshop in January 2017.

If your goal is to complete your novel or screenplay in 2017, consider attending this engaging and interactive workshop which will be held in Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre.

The Creative Writers Mind Mapping Workshop curriculum will be presented over two days:

  • Day one will see participants brainstorm and map out a detailed plan for the characters, plot, conflict and setting of their novel or screenplay.

  • On Day two, participants will finalise the plan by completing a breakdown of chapters or acts.

Over the two days, Suzan will share some handy hints and offer personalised advice. The workshop is taught in a group of just 20 people and will be held in a relaxed atmosphere.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants would have created an easy to follow plan with their characters, plot ideas, conflict and setting clearly laid out.

This is a great workshop for writers of all skill levels, as well as those who are suffering from 'writer's block'. Come along and find the inspiration you need to finally complete your novel or screenplay.

Workshops will be held on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of January or 21st and 22nd of January 2017.

The workshops will run from 9.30am to 4.00pm daily.

Partipants should bring a laptop and notebook to the workshop.

Bookings are now open and places are strictly limited. To reserve your place, please click here and select your desired workshop date. The all-inclusive fee is $395pp.
