Kids Get Crafty at The Craft Gallery
If you have an arty child that likes to craft on the weekend, you might like to tell them about up and coming classes happening at The Craft Gallery in Queen Victoria Market. Run in conjunction with local artist Edith from Timeless Treasures there are two creative children's workshops to choose from in the month of March.

1. Wishing Well Workshop - Sunday 23 March 2014

Children age 4yrs plus will have the opportunity to make their own wishing well. Students will have access to paper mache, scrapbook paper, embellishments and colour, and are encouraged to design their own well using tools and patterns provided.

No need to bring anything, just make sure your child is appropriately dressed for art and craft. There is a limit of 15 children per workshop, with two times to choose from: batch 1 at 10am to 11.30am and batch 2 at: 12pm to 1.30pm. Book here

2. "Victorian Bunnie" Workshop - Sunday 29 March 2014

Victorian Bunnie Sewing Workshop


In this workshop, high school aged children (or children old enough to operate a sewing machine) are required to bring their own sewing machine and sewing supplies, and will be taught to make a Victorian Bunnie rabbit which they can take home to display.

The supplies that will be provided include:

Pattern
Fabric and Embellishments
Stuffing
Colours
Tools

This is an all day workshop from 10am to 4pm, morning tea and afternoon tea will be provided at the venue. The "Victorian Bunnie" workshop can be booked here.

Also look out for school holiday craft classes held at the same venue.
