Weekly creative digital content creation how to videos
Improve your digital content using the State Library of Victoria's weekly tricks and tips for making creative digital content!

Keen to learn how to make creative digital content? Looking for ways to improve your recording video editing skills? The State Library releases weekly videos on Fridays that share tricks and tips for making creative digital content.



The library's weekly video series, which are being presented in partnership with Victorian Public Libraries, to help those who are looking to create digital content at home improve their creative technology knowledge and skills and provide tricks and tips they can use when creating content.

Technology tips on everything from starting a podcast to making a digital collage are shared. The videos are meant to assist all types of creators and makers with different levels of ability.



For examples, recent videos have covered the following topics:
Video Editing in Premiere Pro with Melbourne Library Makerspace
Sampling Sounds of the Library with the Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator
Editing in Pro Tools with City of Melbourne
Laser Cutting a Book Display Stand with the Emblaser 2
Learn Collage with Melbourne Library
Tips & tricks for editing audio with ProTools

The videos are short, punchy and informative, getting the information across in an easy to understand manner, with screen sharing used to show how to use various different software programs.

The State Library also has a large collection of almost 200,000 copyright-free images that creators can use for their digital content.



The six most recent episodes of the State Library's Creative Tech Fridays can be viewed here and previous episodes can be found on its Creative Tech Fridays playlist on YouTube, which at the time of writing contained 12 videos on various creative technology subject matter.
