On Saturday 18th of October, you are invited to learn the art of 'Creating Tablescapes' with celebrated interior designer James Robertson.

This special event is being held at Brookfield Garden Centre from 3pm to 5pm and will consist of and informative workshop and a delightful afternoon tea at Wild Canary.

James has a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in the industry for over 50 years and in this interactive workshop he will show you how to 'assemble the bricolage of your life into delightful narratives – flashes of your story';

'All of the eclectic eccentric objects that are lurking in dusty corners tell tiny stories about you – who you are, where you've been, what's important to you – a tide of memories.'

James' work has taken him all over Australia and to parts of Asia and has included many National Trust buildings such as Talgai Homestead, Westbrook Homestead, Rockhampton Club, Queensland Club and The South Brisbane Municipal Chamber – for which he received a National Award. He has served on the QLD Council of the Design Industry of Australia four times and in 2006 he was awarded a Fellow of The Design Industry of Australia.

If you are interested in interior design, you won't want to miss this unique workshop.

Bookings are essential and the fee is $35 per person - this includes afternoon tea at Wild Canary.
