Taj Pabari was a suspended schoolboy who became the Queensland Young Australian of the Year in 2017. He launched his enterprise Fiftysix, which creates electronic tablets that are easy to assemble. He is still young, but with determination and passion, Taj Pabari proofs that anyone can change the world.
Science Week 2017
As part of Darwin Festival 2017 and celebrating Science Week 2017, Taj Pabari invites families to an interactive event. With only recyclable materials and everyday items, Taj Pabari will guide participants to build, test and invent their own machine that completes a simple task. There will also be prizes up for grabs.
This event will be held at Accomplice Art Space, 3/7 Caryota Court Coconut Grove Darwin 0810 on Saturday 19 August 2017 from 5pm until 7pm. Ticket are available by phoning Darwin Entertainment Centre on (08) 8980 3333 or booking through Darwin Festival on (08) 8943 4222.
