Surrounded by native bushland, this is a fabulous place to spend a few hours at any time of the year. There's lots of walking tracks and specialty gardens with wide sweeping pathways and plenty of little nooks and crannies to see. There is even a house and garden area offering great ideas for your own home. There is the Woodland Picnic area nearby, with gas BBQs ad wheelchair access throughout the park and gardens. The Garden Explorer travels around the park and carries approx. 20 people and costs approx. $7.50 p/ adult and $6.00 concession p/p. Guided tours can also be pre arranged for groups. It is a wonderful spot for weddings as they also have a function centre.

There's plenty of birdlife as well as other critters, however be careful of snakes in the Summer months. Also be careful on the drive in as there is often wallabies, wombats, and various other native wildlife, which consider the park home. My favourite spot is definitely the rock garden; it is so serene.
