I've always loved making things. When I was a child, my mum collected tissue boxes and bits and pieces knowing that as soon as I saw something being made on Play School, I would want to make it as well.
As I've grown up, I've discovered different crafts; some I've tried and loved (crocheting for example), some I haven't managed to get the hang of (knitting - what do I do with the other stick again?); I'm always keen to learn something new.
If this sounds like you, Craftynoon at The Box Factory is the perfect opportunity to get together with other crafters, have some afternoon tea and maybe even make new friends.
Craftynoon at The Box Factory Community Centre is held on the second and fourth Sunday of the month. Further information can be found here. To reserve your place at the next event, head to the Craftynoon Eventbrite website.
Bring along your current project - crocheting, knitting, embroidery and so on or just come along for a chance to socialise with other like-minded people.
Entry is free however organisers do request you bring a $2 donation to be given to the Community Centre to cover running costs.
The Box Factory Community Centre is a 'disability friendly building (with lift access) with parking available nearby.
