Got time to help cats in need?
The Cat Haven provides a number of services including a facility to care for lost, stray or unwanted cats and rehoming as many of these cats as possible through their adoption service. As such, they rely exclusively on donations from the public to keep their cats warm and comfortable.
Come along to a 'Craft for a Cause' morning, to help make much needed bedding for these felines. Bring along any preloved clean towels, sheets, pillow cases, blankets, bunny rugs and anything else that can be easily washed. Then you will cut, hand sew or machine sew them into 65cm x 85cm blankets, which is the correct size for their cat enclosures. Knitted or crochet blankets of the same size are also suitable and much needed.
Alternatively, you can drop off your donations of bedding any time during the hours listed below. Please note that pillows, cushions, quilts, electric blankets, carpet, foam or any non-washable items are not suitable.
