There is never a better time to get crafty than the middle of winter. Wave goodbye the endless nights of sitting in front of the TV or browsing the internet - this weekend event will inspire you and open the opportunity for you to find a new hobby or dust the cobwebs of an existing one. Come along and find crafters and artists who will guide you through so you can learn a new skill.



Where and when? At the big blue shed on Flinders Street , also known as the Flinders Street Market , Craftapolooza will run from 10am to 3pm on both July the 23rd and 24th, so you have plenty of time to learn not one, but quite a few crafty skills. Some of the stalls will include weaving, stitching, clay shaping, printing, glass work, leather work, mosaics and mix media, amongst many other artists who will happily share their knowledge.

Flinders Street Market never fails to host some unique and great food and coffee, so no need to worry about a nearby eatery. You can do it all there; the learning, warming up, crafting, eating and drinking, and if you really enjoy yourself on the first day, you can always come back once more, bring your crafty buddies and warm up at Flinders Street Market!
